Ahmed Yacout is the founder of IPS Group and boasts decades of experience in the field mainly in the MENA region. Prior to IPS, he was the General Manager of Sanofi Near East. He launched his career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1984 in Egypt with Roussel Uclaf before moving to Rhone Poulenc Rorer (RPR).

His vision goes over and above pharmaceutical solutions. It leads him to drive the regional market with innovative and progressive solutions. He wants IPS to “Become, with the support of its highly-experienced people, the game changers of the region.”

A strategist and a results-oriented professional, he has the essential know-how needed to grow the business and predict potential market opportunities.

He founded IPS on the belief that, “Patients are the core of our presence and if we position ourselves in their shoes, we will strive to serve them better.”

Rima Helou is the COO of the Diagnostics and Personalized Medicine division of IPS (IPS Genomix). She was previously the General Manager of a leading multinational pharmaceutical company.

Dr Helou has a successful track record of over 15 years of experience in marketing, sales and business unit management in the Levant region.

A Doctor of Pharmacy with an impressive background in business, she propels this innovative division of IPS forward.

Sylvana Nader boasts over 15 years of experience in professional human capital management in diverse industries: pharmaceutical, healthcare, banking, insurance and technology.

Before joining IPS, she was the Human Resources Director for the Near East Region at Sanofi and the Head of Human Resources at American Express Bank.

She is highly adept at leading change and transformation initiatives, thus helping to build deep rooted corporate cultures and strong teams.

Caroline Chami, a Doctor in Pharmacy graduate from USJ and a holder of Health Leadership and Management Diploma from the American University of Beirut , with more than 20 years of experience in the different aspects of Pharma commercial operations.

Her career started from sales and became the Head of Marketing for Sanofi- Iraq. Her devotion towards customer service made her unique and different in her approach towards her internal and external customers.

Caroline is a role model in bypassing business obstacles with passion , engagement and commitment to her business objective .

Selim Chami has over fifteen years of banking experience out of which he spend the last ten years providing investment banking advisory services and capital raising with deals originating from Europe to the Middle East. Prior to joining IPS, he was heading the investment banking services as deputy General Manager at BSEC-Structured Finance. He previously held different positions such as Senior Executive Manager at Qatar Islamic Bank where he was heading the structured finance and international finance business, and as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche Enterprise Risk Services division in the Middle East.

His investment banking experience spans across financial services including M&A, private placements, securitization, project finance, syndication, and investments in private equity funds, mutual funds, real estate, etc.

Selim holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from ESIB (Lebanon) and a Masters from Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris.”

Hesham has 21 years of pharmaceutical experience in the MENA Region with different multinational and regional Pharmaceutical companies such as MSD,Eli-lily, Schering-Plough, Aventis and others.Among his past held positions were General Manager for the Emerging markets and Oncology, Haematology & Rare Diseases Business Unit Director.

Hesham is experienced in managing successfully numerous local and regional Distributors within the MENA region, and acting as the point of contact with multinational principals in Europe & USA. He led lead multi-functions within the Business Development, Operation, Sales and Marketing and served as a member of the Company Board of Directors at New Bridge Pharmaceuticals.

Hesham holds a Bachelor degree in pharmaceutical science and a Master’s Degree in clinical pharmacy.
